CHILDHOOD – “BLUE VELVET”

I’ve never found a severed ear in the grass, never had a cigarette burn in the palm of my hand.

But I’ve felt the tic toc of suburban ennui and escaped under duvets from adult voices raised to misunderstand.

We’ve all our own horror. We’ve all had bones of glass, from time to time.
