BLOG POST: CHILDHOOD – “MOUNT CHILLIAD”

There’s a universal appeal to the way in which Childhood are able to express the paradox of teendom as both endlessly hopeful and ineffably sad. Near everyone knows that strange, intoxicating concoction. With those guitars that sigh, Childhood are plugging into a ready made audience built on the experience of confused bodies and fuzzy emotions that (probably) anyone over the age of 13 is going to have contended with at some point.

And for those that don’t relate, well, they were never going to enjoy a Childhood song anyway, where they? They don’t need music like the rest of us do.
