Index For Working Musik have today shared the video for ‘Chains’, the latest track to be taken from Dragging The Needlework For The Kids At Uphole, their debut album released on Friday 17th February.
Talking about the track, which is accompanied by a video directed by the band’s Nathalia Bruno, singer Max Oscarnold noted:
‘Chains’ is basically a surf song, in which the waves are the links that tie us to each other and everything. It’s about The Disconnect by Roisin Kiberd, a book of her journey through one of the most boring subjects – the internet – and how it became a new Wheel of Catherine, and the question: how long can you recycle pictures of Blixa Bargeld for?
Dragging the Needlework for the Kids at Uphole is released on CD, digital and LP formats – there are two vinyl editions, one black the other limited edition blue (250 copies), 50 of which come with a signed risograph print.
